Reduce Display Framerate issue

Does anyone know how to fix the issue of the UO options always resetting the Reduce Display Framerate?

Every time I open the client the box is checked. I uncheck it, apply and save and it is fine until the next time I start the client and it is checked again.

It is not a HUGE deal, but after unchecking it thousands of times over the years it would be nice to not have to do that again.

I quit trying to understand the client... Such an OLD game.. yet such a bad client.. Its a shame Sallos is basicly a cheater client... If they just took out all the scripting buisness it would be a good client..
