what about paying 2m to increase drop chances...? because that is the stupidest pay-to-win feat. ever...
... For the love of Odin. Can you people stop saying pay to win. You're NOT using the term correctly.

If you can earn gold thus earn the item it's not pay to win.

Well, in that case then, why can't we have an item bless deeds for 2m... or other stupid items that only the rich vet players can afford, and thus making the rich get richer...

IF they added IBDs it still wouldnt be pay to win. That doesn't mean that the deed would be a good addition.

I personally think the added drop chance should be removed from the item and just added to the base chance to drop. However it's still not a pay to win item.

well, technically you can't win uo... but, adding significant advantages that only rich established players can obtain, while they already dominate that aspect of the game.. just seems a slap in the face to the average joe trying to make it in Sosaria...

Why should a rich established player have the same chance at something as a new player? Shouldn't the person who put in time and effort be rewarded?

I think the thought behind it was gold sink opportunity, so I'm sure it was well-intentioned. I think the general consensus from the community is that gold sinks should not give any sort of advantage other than maybe convenience (think ethies, trapped pouch, blessed knife, etc)

Probably shoulda gone about this a different way but it looks like we are committed to this. I don't see any going back it has been in place and bugs are being fixed for it so it's looking like it's here to stay. Better start saving I guess!

I think more things like the destard collection of the little trophies for the common guy to get something big is good. I am a strong supporter of lower chance at big ticket items with potential solo work. I would lean heavier on the system already in place to where you add more things like Kill 1000 demons and instead of getting a title scroll you get a box that has chance at relic or a 120 powerscroll makes sense to me.

This would give the lower tier person another avenue to grind and get a big ticket item chance. There should always have Quick Random events where the top tier people are kept happy, but I also think that the common guy who has limited time each week should be able to have a shot at something good.

------------------------------------------------------------

So in Summary:

1. Longer Quests that give a normal person a shot at something big. (I'd do a quest that takes 6 months if I got a guaranteed relic of my choosing, make it 200 hours or something way up there to complete)

Right now the most prized Relic is ~10 million for the QS. If one earns say 30k / Hour that would be 333 hours of farming gold. One could even have things like Customer service rewards where if you volunteer as a Counselor for X hours you get shot at something. Give back to community... There ultimately needs better paths for big ticket items. I know that I have spent a lot on donation coins because the chances are so low of getting these items in their current states.

2. Keep the high impact Big Risk, Big Reward things in

Motm is a great idea and I know even if its heavily raided by reds, that there are enough hidden spots with Ettins that it makes it worthwhile. Anything that gives the common working man a chance at big ticket items I am going to support.

MotM gets players in different but that's it really. It just moves players. It doesn't create any kind of a challenge isn't very interesting IMO aside from the possibility different drops it's just one and two-shotting shit like ettins...

I like that it's another means of introducing relics. I just wish it were more engaging.

Im all for this... antyhing to promote more PVP/group fights.

Plus with RDAs, even if you find it, you still have to put in the effort to do them, not like you just walk into one and pick up gold/relics.

Wait what? @Bobby123 does according to his posts. I heard a rumor he gets 120 tamings and relics that just spawn by his house.

Truth is you wanted to run your mouth and you got absolutely embarassed, if you can't take it then don't try to dish it out. I can't believe you are still mad about that though to be honest. Your new picture is suitable for you. :D

If the teleport to RDAs was permanent then it was definitely deserving of rage, and not to mention that it was abused to the fullest as soon as it came out by the typical exploiters. Yes we're looking at you Duck'Face, POWER, $.

Explain to me how you embarrassed me kid? You cried like a fucking ***** and got wrecked. End of story.

Also maybe you should learn to read considering the two posts in question were about one hour apart.

In other notes we might need to double our efforts since RDAs now have no bounds of where they can't spawn, interesting.

I don't really know what to think now since we had 8 people running around for 2 hours non-stop and couldn't find one, luckily someone stumbled upon one afterwards while just running around. Pretty rough finding them now since they can be ANYWHERE. I think at least excluding towns would be nice.

They can now also spawn in dungeons too then?

That would explain the one I found yesterday - faction gate was in its usual spot - and the secondary exit was a few screens away inside the same faction base!

I wonder if this was an intended change to allow more people to stumble upon rdas? - especially if they can be found in towns/dungeons.
