Since the Phoenix armor is repairable and the ranger isn't. I bet it is an oversight. If enough of the public feel strongly that it needs to be made repairable, it will get bumped to the top of the staff's to-do list.

On the point if indestructible.... Don't you think that would make it overpowered as armor? In fact, it used to be indestructible and was found to be too powerful, which is why it was changed to take damage.

Overpowered Armor? To be honest, I didn't think that.. I'd sacrifice some AR to make it indestructible, if that was the case.. I was hoping it was a little better than barbed, blessed and indestructible. And for the cost and time it takes to acquire a suit, I still didn't think it was worth it, but it was another long term goal to strive for. I've been playing for over a year and barely have enough for one piece so far. I spend most of my time at sea, so I don't see many paragons anyway. I can score a full set of invun armor in a few hours of MiBs, I just hate losing the suit every time I get waxed.. lol Another thought would be to make it so only blues can wear it. It would be a counter defense for the non-pvper. Players, such as myself, have characters with a task driven skill set. My template isn't a stun mage, or a nox archer.. I have fishing, music, prov, etc... I'm at a disadvantage everytime a red rolls up on me. This suit would have given me some defense, and would have leveled out the disadvantage a little..

I'm confused, and have platinum to buy a full set.... But quite hesitant until there is a flat - This is how it is/going to be. Not going to gamble huge for something that does not have a set affialition to it. Also, more plat items worth farming for! The price is low on plat because no one wants it... and Paragons should be a HUGE part of the game me thinks!

I think that both Ranger and Phoenix armor should be breakable, but also be repairable...so people won't get totally reckless while they wear it. but it will still be worth the platinum spent on it. plus it will sink more, because people buying repair deeds and Powder of Fortifying
