I believe new faction updates will help. Sorry about your loss. I hope they do what is the best for pvm community in a long run.

This is another thing they have screwed up on recently. You shouldn't have to be in a faction to have success at commanding a pet you have trained for a couple hundred hours. If people wanted to pvp don't you think they'd have been doing so already? Idk I like this server and the work the developers put into it, but they have been implementing ideas that push the players towards a play style that many aren't interested in.

It is what it is, but they should state their intentions before pointing fingers at the players for using the things they put in play.

Meta pets were touted as the best possible pvm feature, but if you use it to kill things you are cheating and should be banned...

Everyone is missing the damn point. You can kill a balron with a handful of shots from a $10k slayer bow and yet people are crying about a level 7 meta w/ level 10 quicksilver killing the same balron in 10-12s?

People spent 300+ hours leveling those metas who really gives a shit if they can pick up 1200 gold faster. You still have respawn timers and competing tamers/bards etc farming the same locations.

Quicksilver gave no advantage to champ spawn points or invasion points.

I don't even own a meta any more and it pisses me off. I intended to log in once in awhile to faction/pk now that weather is warming up and I won't play nearly as much, but there's really no reason to collect/accumulate or do anything when knee-jerk changes are made that could cost you 20m gold in one shot.

Metas are end game items and were used by end game players. Would I have spent 200+ hours playing if quicksilver were this way 3 months ago when I bought a meta? Hell no.. I never would've come back from a 10 month break. I used to do nothing but champ spawns and factions/pk but considering the pvp scene was weak for months on end it left nothing else to do in game besides level a meta.

I personally didn't donate for my meta but there were numerous individuals who donated hundreds of dollars solely to use the gold on metas or relics.

I agree. Even with this nerf Bradley still got top damage at the spawns last night. Some people just know what they are doing in a champ/invasion.


But imo the biggest complaint isn't the nerf. It is how staff implemented the nerf and then started to call players cheaters and talking about banning us.

Well you can now join a faction and fight for a town to make sure your pets listen, and they gain skills faster too.
SHould look intot this before u cry so much.

Is it a banable offense to disagree with the staff / devs? You seem extremely passionate about supporting their every move. Criticism isn't always a bad thing, I agree with Duck, keep as many people happy as possible. There is a lot of extra content added on the server and it is cool to see the dungeons/champs/crafter areas being used. I think many of us have played other servers that didn't have this balance. I don't want to see the player base dwindle down to just the hardcore group pvp, even if that is what I am interested in. We no longer play those other servers for a reason.

Like I said before, if the population wanted to be in factions they would have been already. Most pvm players here don't have any interest in joining factions to be ganked by a Zerg. Most meta pet owners don't have resist/wrestle/eval, so explain how that is a viable option. It's a push towards a pvp server that most people don't want.

The quicksilver relic only helped with my champ/invasion scores towards the end of champs/invasions.. Anyone who really knows how to use a meta dragon can do just as well as I do. If you give me the best possible PvM tool, I will use it to the best of its ability.

You give a top PvPer that blessed valorite runic spear and I guarantee he/she will make people cry too.

Apparently, I'm the only one with a high level quicksilver relic..



Even with the nerf to quicksilver, I will still top the charts.. Like I said, it only shined at the end of invasions/champ spawns.
