Questions about stealing

Okay.... so, I just joined this shard recently and have been on so many different shards, that is it hard to keep the particulars of each skill straight. From reading other posts on this forum I gained a LOT of insight into most everything. However, I recently decided to start role playing a thief, and have not been able to answer a few questions:

1. Can Blessed items be stolen? (I ask expecting the answer no)
2. Is the stealable rares list similar to that found on the UO stratics forums from a few years back? http://stratics.com/community/threads/daily-and-stealable-rares-info.117789/page-2
3. Are there or have there been any thief related shard events?

Any answers greatly appreciated!

P.S. - been playing about a week and a half, and I really like the shard!

I do too! The most recent shard I played on was "oblivion shard" and they focus a lot on GM Shard wide events that make building various characters really fun. We would build our characters in the wild just to have the hopes of getting the best of your mates in the competitions. Alas, that shard was ultimately like smurf-land, or like a game based irc chat, so I went for some more old-skool UO.

They're going to be including a new rare system with the expansion, so stay tuned.

So, reality. Even the Cure, which was an instanced-based event, isn't blessed or newbied, making it an awesomely useless reward outside of a paperweight.

They were put directly into the persons bank, hardly a THIEF EVENT..... damn nubs

Could still steal the rares (which you said were all blessed - so, lose moar).

Still didn't address Santa's drops, though, or any of the massive events where people are crowding around fallen champs/bosses, ripe pickings for thieves.

Or maybe even the Cove Orc event - but you didn't play back then. =\

Since you didnt read the OPs post (obviously) "3. Are there or have there been any thief related shard events?" the answer is no.
