Question regarding house deeds VS Placement tool

Recently a friend of mine place a large patio house and bought the deed to do so instead of using the housing placement tool< The deed was 192.5k VS using the tool for 392k.

All was well until we noticed that the number of secures and lockdowns was different, by about 206/300 respectively.

My question is this intended or bugged? Placing it with the housing tool showed the exact same design in the layout, under classic styles, but this was unknown before doing so.

Does anyone have any further info on this?

If you use the house tool and you demolish the house you get refunded the money. But if you place with a deed then demolish the house you get the deed back which really sucks if you have to try to resell a deed and take a big hit

You missed the main question: Why does placing a deed to a classic design have a smaller amount of secure and lockdown items compared to using a house placing tool, selecting the exact same design of classic housing, but getting 200-325 more secures/lockdowns?

Maybe that's what you get for the extra cash with the placement tool (along will the full refund capability).

I always say pay the extra cash and use the house placement tool as it's worth it in the long run.

Halygon is right. Its just a better option.

However, if there is differences, it should be noted somewhere. I've never heard of this, and if all the deeds are like that, that's some bogus shit.

this^^ all the houses are off storage wise from what they say. GMs said it was because of vendors....

well i dont have or want a vendor house i want a house with more storage.....

ALSO: if you use house placement tool, you can redeed the house so using a tool only lets you get back gold from custom houses it still returns house deeds!!!!

so just screwed myself trying to place a classic assuming using the tool would like the custom homes put gold back in account instead of a stupid, deed that can only be sold for 50% of worth now....

This is what happens. Not sure what happened to this. Lucky I tested it with just a small stone and plaster before doing this with anything larger. Sorry for your loss Asshat

Weird. I'll ask the dev team about this.

Yeah the refund was my understanding to, and swore it worked that way a year or so ago. Tried a small about a month ago, I got a lovely small deed in return. Then if I replace the deed it has the same storage as a vendor bought deed.
