Question on Mind Blast

With the new formula calculating damage from mind blast, does it take into consideration only base stats or base stats + buffs?

The reason im asking is if you buff agility and strength pots and sit at 120ish in both with 25 int, your asking for a powerful mb, but if the base stats are the only ones taken into consideration, then you could potentially set 95/95/35 or even 90/90/45 and buff over 100 to achieve plus 100 stats.

With buffs and debuffs. So if you clumsy a Mage while he has str potted, it will do more damage as opposed to him not being buffed/debuffed at all.

Hmm seems like for a warrior it makes more sense no to buff then. Since no int buff exists in the form or a potion.

No potions but there is low end magery spells that increase or decrease int on characters. If you ever fight a decent Mage as a dexxor they will feeble mind you and then Mindblast.

Yeah you can cunning, but even then your looking at +10 on a true dexer you have say 95/95/35 then +10 cunning, feeble mind will do a -10, if you were to buff, which is ideal for any character, buff ag and str to 115 each then you still sit at 115 to 25, which leaves you vulnerable to a mindblast. Thanks for the input, just clarifies my question as to buff a dexer or not.

Funny thing is you can buff a mage nicely, say you run 90/35/100 for mb protection, you buff ag and str by 20 then you sit 110/45/100 pretty solid in comparison.

For the record, I play both mage and dexer, currently Im focusing on tweeking my dexers lol.

You can always wear a magical wizard hat that can be bought at any mage shop. It increases intelligence by +5
