So my neighbors house fell this morning. I was lucky enough to place a quick 7x7 in its place. My question is, can I drop that plot immediately and place a larger one? Or is there some wait time? I seem to remember a 24 hour wait time or something on OSI.

Pretty sure you can just drop it and replace. You lose a lot of the gold for the 7x7 but its only 7x7 so who cares.

Yeah im pretty sure it was a 14x15 before if I counted right, so I have quite a bit to gain by dropping it. Can anyone confirm there is no time? I will probably wait just in case, but it would be nice to know if there is a next time.

It says on the message that you'll lose gold from demolishing a custom house. But you don't. I just went from a placed 7x7 to an 18x14 and got the full 90.5k back from demolishing the 7x7.
I'm also selling the 18x14 to any takers

When placing houses, there is *NO* delay required for a drop, and a resize.
On top of this, any "CUSTOM" sized plot (not classic) will refund you 100% of the cost of the initial placement. Meaning, you can drop and resize as many times as you want and you won't be penalized. You will get the full purchase price back for every demolish.
Classic houses, however, will net you the deed instead. Which can only be sold to NPC's at a fraction of its purchase price, or to other players.

I guess my information is really dated or I've just been really misinformed on custom house placement because I could've sworn you lost a good deal of the placement money on the demolishing of a custom. Hmm.
