Question about not paying up on forums.

My point is just that any selling systems that take player interactivity out of the equation makes for a poor UO mechanic. These type of auction systems tend to normalize prices everywhere, reduce the value of premium housing locations, and really impact the economy as a whole.

Can we implement more rules regarding buying/selling items on the forum? Possibly.

That is a good example of a thread that had not been seen by moderators. Scamming on forums is bannable and not allowed.

I think a lot of comments have already been given regarding this, but if you want to continue this, open a thread in Ideas and Suggestions. Not only should you provide the idea in detail, but describe the current issue and how it will resolve that. That is the best way to get some traction on this.

Simple.....
just add in a system such as ebay that when u buy/sell something you can leave feedback for that player. Granted you will probably have people leaving ratings just to be an ass, but this could be moderated by staff, for disputes.
I'm on the forums alot, and I see this problem happen alot. Either non-payment or people posting on a thread just to be negative or trash talk.
For integrity's sake I strongly believe in some kind of rating system being implemented. The dev team for UOF are very smart n good at what they do, I'm sure designing a successful system would be a walk in the park for them.
Just my 2cents.....
