Question About Decorative Armor

Ok, I can now use and have access to a soul forger. I want to make a suit of gold Decorative Armor. My question is this. It says that i need 10 pieces of "Ancient Armor". to make the item. It says nothing about having different pieces as in a whioe suit. just 10 pieces. So can i use like 10 pairs of ancient gloves to make the decorative armor?
