Qstaff Love

I was wondering whether crushing blow could be added to quarter staffs, at say half the rate of a war hammer given the speed of the weapon?

I feel they're a bit weak for a 2hander (unless target is naked), lack the ar destroying capabilities (as far as i'm aware), along with the stamina loss that hammers do?

Yay or nay?

Qstaffs can (if landing hits) disrupt consecutive attempts at a greater heal (or recall) with much less than full stamina. This is not true for warhammers and the slow speed is the downfall of that weapon. If you had the speed of a qstaff swing with crushing blow and macing bonus stam drain, you'd have a powerhouse weapon.

I find Qstaff's only good against newbs.

Against actual pvpers (not naked tamers with 0 wrestling), they're too weak.

Maybe it is just another instance of standard gm barbed leather being too strong.

the problem is that dmg and AR seems to be only balanced for war hammers on UOF.. Power/Vanq spears hitting for less than a power/vanq warfork is a joke :-/ one of these days we should definitely fix weapon dmgs and maybe think of something to make dexxers more competitive.
