I miss when pvp was precast halberd jousting.

honestly wands, purple pots, assist scripts, all the high end bullshit that makes people leet pvpers is just too much to be bothered with, talismans are the least of the issue

really if you don't like getting owned by PKs with defense talisman, stop going to Destard, because if talisman in pvp is your biggest complaint you're playing some other game

If you wanted a challenge you wouldn't consistently call in more and more.

"Oh 2v1 isn't good enough, let's make it 3 or 4 v1" appears to be the blue wand mage mentality.

And when they die with such odds - "OMG DEFENCE TALISMAN KILLED ME NERF IT *whilst raging at team mates/throwing keyboard*, U BETTER LOOT ALL MY WANDZ", yet failing to realize that they just ran next to 2 paragons.

But i do understand your view - wand mages get claustrophobic in dungeons as they cant readily run in a straight line from britain to yew, so maybe the call ins are for emotional support.

I found a post where he didnt wrote that even on this page. Dont take it personally mate, just gets old and is disrespectful.

Giranas posts are by far the most intelligents I read on this forum. The reason why no new players come into pvp scene is that they feel there is no way to catch up vs. Vet players.

If this is true or not doesnt matter. What matters is the reality and the reality is pvp is almost dead atm.

Whenever Girana talks about game mechanics, someone should quote his posts about reducing spell damage, nerfing explos, increasing armor, removing wands, increasing pet speed, and perma-death for reds.

You never PvP'd and therefore never adapted to the PvP meta.

1)You don't use explosion pots which is one way of adapting to this server.
2)You don't have wand hotkeys nor use them in any scenario.
3)You never played a bard mage template to adapt to the firehorn meta.
4)Not talking about how stun tamers were relevant.

The truth is you never even tried adapting, how can you talk about you knowing how to adapt.

On a sidenote

Regarding the defensive talisman issue by all vets posting in here or semi-vet.
How did the talisman effect your pvp within last few months? People on here are PvPing vs defensive talisman on their defensive talisman templates or barely even witnessing the 10 players with defensive talisman pk'ing.

That's the truth.

A lot of people on here are salty about all the changes fucking up their templates or items and want to destroy others grinds. Myself I own a talisman and I'm pking with it, but I wouldn't care if it was nerfed and not usable by me anymore IF there would be a valid argument against them. Where not only 20 people on this thread are 10 people PvPing and 5 of them facing talisman users just to nerf them.

Trust me, he's good at adapting. I've witnessed him and is recorded on one of @Blair 's videos running into his house at valhalla while 3-4 of his VANQ guild mates take dirt naps.

i use explo pots and i can stay alive against them but i still think they shit and nothing else made more players quit.

i use healwands on all my factionchars
3)
i got 4x 120provo mages and used them to instand kill ton of n00bs

Boils down to casual vs. hardcore, the same argument thats been had since MMOs were a thing. There's no way (edit: that I know of) to properly balance without hurting someone. Long term players need to feel like their investments were worth it, and new players need to feel like the gap isn't too huge. Just wanted to point out that this isn't a personal issue like some people would make it out to be. It's a game and EVERYONE in this thread is biased, it's impossible not to be. No reason to throw out insults at each other.
