They've been a staple in UO since like, forever? Make them a weekly spawn or something so they retain some rarity but people can have them without shelling out 50 dollars.

they drop from blood vortex. God know how many i've killed and never gotten a pair, they're cheap as shit tho (15-20k) so I guess they're pretty common and i'm just unlucky.
They do look badass with blood red horse/outfit/spellbook tho. I blessed a pair and didn't regret it
