provocation

I'm having trouble getting my provocation. It's stuck on 57.4 and I been using the skill with a macro and it hasn't gone up for hrs

this happened to me, but, with musicianship. I was macroing it and wasnt gaining. Once I physically moved my toon around, the gains started again. Not sure if this is a change or not, but, it happened to me, as well.

simply, moving around solved the issue, for me, though. maybe implement some movements into the macro?

Well I logged off for a while. Got back on later and started again and it still hasn't gone up idk if it'd the instrument I'm using or not

instruments do break over time, i think.

maybe try a new instrument. they are cheap. gains should still be relatively quick for 57 skill.........sum'n is awry....

^^good tips^^\

make sure you have enough skill points (set the arrow DOWN on all skills not needed.)

generally, you dont have to consistiently provo harder mobs to gain, but, sometimes, upping the skill level of your provo target can help....

1.. make sure you have other skills turned down in your skills gump. If your at 700 skill point it won't raise until you set another skill down.

2. What are you provoing? Easiest way to macro is to go tk the bards table in deceit.. at your level you should provo the skeletons or 5he Gouls on to yourself.. when you get up around 75-80 provo the rotting corpse on to yourself.

still surprising you had to provo on yourself to gain at 57 skill.
that seems a bit early to me, but, its been a while since I did it...
