Power Scrolls 105,110,115,120

Not so much a newbie just have not dabbled in power scrolls yet.

1st question: Must you use a 105 ps before using a 110 ps? in the original UO it wasn't required, but i see a lot of people buying them in order.

2nd question: if I'm at max skill 700, and i want to use a 110 ps for on skill will i need to drop 10 points in another skill just to bring that on up?

1) Yes, you must use in that order 105,110,115,120. Otherwise we would only see 120 ps and call it a day. Note, you also need to lvl up the skill to 105 before using the next ps lvl 110.

2) No, once your gm in a skill you want to raise, use the 105 first. You will automatically be granted the max cap of 705. I'm sure it will even tell you a message that it isn't available to work when you try to jump straight to 110.

it should be noted that you can only increase you skill cap to 720, and you must use a 120 PS to do it. essentially you will gain 5 points to your skill cap for the first PS you use of each level (105,110,115,120)

so if you use a 105 in BS your skill cap will go up but if you then use a 105 PS in tailoring you will have to sacrifice 5 points somewhere else. then if you use 110 tailoring you get another 5 points.

Does this mean you can only get to 120 in one skill, while still being 7x gm? or will your skill cap alot you to be 120,120,100,100,100,100,100?

max skill cap is 720, that means you can only be 120 in one skill and maintain the other 6 GMS. Or you could train up to 120 then lower the skill and be 7xGM and 20 points in another skill. but if you want to be 120 in more than one skill you need to lower other skills.
