Tard the Paladin
Grandmaster
Short answer: no. There's just more to do so the action is spread out.
Let's not forget fellas, not too long ago there were no artifacts, no relics, no rare deco drops from bosses (well there were a couple but the odds of dropping were close to 0)
There is 1000x more reason to explore this added content than there was to do the old champs, broken RDAs, and one or two bosses.
With that added content comes no shortage of shitty PS drops but such is life. I personally could not as for more.
Plus staff shat on the idea when Babe first presented it. Changes like this heavily favor vets with stockpiles of shitty PS and do very little to help the new guys. It would take a while but eventually a system like this would work as intended.
I think that initial boon for vets is enough to ensure that it will never happen based on staff response in the past.
How would this help only veterans? A 105 PS is worth nothing for old or new players. If a new player gets a 105 PS under a turn-in system then they can sell it and make some gold. Old players would buy it and turn it in. Win win situation in my opinion.
I'd like to see the PS market get a boost. Is there anyone out there that truly believes a turn-in system would not generate more interest in the game?
I think champs are one of the most challenging and fun end game events you can do. But no one is doing them all that often because it takes a time investment and risk.
There are good arguments for and against a turn in system. IMO the question should be, would it make the game more fun? I think so.
