Power Scroll bugged Cap if skill is locked

I used the power scroll for Animal Lore 105 when it was locked without realizing until later, to find out that my cap hasn't changed.
To put it in a more detailed way:

I used a 105 Animal Taming Power Scroll so now my total cap was 705.
I then used 105 Animal Lore Power Scroll so now my total cap should be 710 but it's stuck on 705 since my skill was locked. That means that I can neither level my Animal Taming nor my Animal Lore as I reached the total skill cap.

Only one powerscroll will raise your cap.

You can only have a maximum cap of 720 skills, and that can only be achieved through using +5, +10, +15, +20 animal Lore or what ever skill.

So when you use 105 taming and 105 lore, then you use 110 taming and 110 Lore, your skill cap isn't 730, it is still 710.

Yeah so my caps went up and are capped at 105 for each skill (as shown in image)

But they are stuck on 705 total instead of 710 total (as shown below)

Neither of them will rise any further for some reason.

The skill cap is increased when you use a power scroll, so while usually you can have 700 max total skill points but when you use 105 etc power scroll it increases to 105, 110, 115, 120 for that specific skill and the total increases by 5. So the first PS I used wasn't locked in and it increased my total skill cap to 705 but only for Animal Taming and only to a max of 105. The second should have increased the total to 710 but my animal lore specifically to 105. Thus the 705 total when Show Real was ticked in second image.

No , I think that's your misunderstanding. Two 105 SS raise the cap to 705. Only if you apply a 110, it raises to 710. That's how I understand the system.

So I guess you need to point a skill down to make room for the points above 100 of (in your example) lore.

Using a 105 powerscroll will raise your cap to 705.

If you use two 105 powerscrolls will give you a skillcap of still 705. However both skills can be raised to 105, So you need to turn one of your skills down. Eg 105 Taming, 105 Animal Lore, 95 Magery.

Like everyone has said the 105 ps will not stack and give you 10 extra points on your skill cap. They will only allow you to exceed 100 in those skills but leave your skill cap at 705. Only until you use a 110 power scroll in a certain skill will your cap go up. Power scrolls do not stack from different skills IE you would not get a 740 skill cap of you used 120 in two seperate skills. You can only raise your skill cap to 720 then you must allocate all skill points accordingly. Essentially you can be 120 in 6 skills.

Its been said above, but only one skill type powerscroll will move your overall skill cap above 700. All other skills just allow more points in that particular skill's cap but do not raise the overall skill cap.
