I think the main reason why OSI ever invented soulstones was that they patched-in so many new skills and character templates (necromancers, ninja bla bla) over the years while they did not increase the number of character slots (afaik) that would be necessary to explore these skills. As there are apparently no plans to add more skills or era packages here, I don’t really see the need for soulstones given that we can have up to 10 characters, most of which are able to gm or re-gm skills here rapidly.
