Experience gains decrease with armor rating and distance from attacker.


Do we really need to be out there up close and naked to gain exp on a mage?

Do you really need armor? You already get to be at a distance now. Berserker doesn't get to wear armor and is in there face tanking. You'll be fine.

I'm fine for the PVM without AR... its the nasty dexer pks I'd love to have a chance against. Considering it will take me 6 months to a year to grind this meta to level 10 it would be nice to be able to survive for more the 10 seconds without running!

make a dress macro and carry it on you. I know how you feel. As a dexxer without armor other dexxers eat me up, but land a stun or run a bit, hit macro and fight

Ya sucks, but if there was no armor penalty for the berserker tali it be to strong I think. Not that I would be against it lol

he talks about PVM then PVP in the context of no AR cos talisman wont let it.. My comment and reading skills are just fine. Thanks for the help though.

Just so everyone is clear... the AR penalty is only for EXP gains and has nothing to do with the talisman bonus.

My point is... to achieve maximum gains I must fight PVM without any AR. This leaves me pretty much defences to the dexer PK. I just don't understand the reasoning behind this. It's not much fun for myself to be defences and it cant be much fun for the PK as the kills aren't even a challenge.

Obviously not, but thanks for coming in here and trying to tell us how something works when you obviously have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

@Lexington Goodluck leveling it, I haven't started my mage tali yet(not sure I want too lol), but unfortunately I don't see them removing the no armor requirement. Try carrying a set on you and using the dress agent. Only thing you can do really.

Thanks... I wish I had of gotten on this when you could still macro it up... cause grinding it sucks ass!!

its not that bad.. u can go 12k xp / h killing ogre lords and stuff.. still for lvl 10 thats a good 12 hours... but its not thaaaaat bad..

There is a talisman specifically dedicated to wearing as much armor as possible.
