I think it would be a good idea. This would be a simple thing to add I presume as well. It also would be a sought after item for the above guild.

It's been in game for years now...
There's been many suits of both Phoenix armor and Ranger Armor sold off the platinum vendor so far.
It is available to everyone, and it has been definitely purchased by many people. It's how it's always been honestly and because of the amount of sales for those coins we cannot change a thing with it. It all is working as intended.

@Shane I think you misread the post good sir. He is asking for some plate mail same as the ranger armor or phoenix armor. Either that I am really confused?

Omgosh I just FLEW to the plat vendor haha, aye no platemail armor there like the phoenix or ranger armor. I meant adding a third suit of armor to the plat vendor (plate suit) like the ranger and phoenix armorIt's been in game for years now...

I think this would be a good addition.
Maybe 40-45ar on it, -9 dex
Phoenix armor is 25 armor, with no dex loss, Ranger is 20 armor you can meditate in (mitigated mana gains), so the plate would need to have a hefty dex loss like regular plate to not be OP compared to the Phoenix.

There should also be some super expensive metal armor dye as a gold sync, so we can see Sir Run around in lime green armor

haha i remember going around to blacksmith shops buying this stuff to make full sets. Back before colored ingots. It took time to because only certain smiths sold certain colors but not all the time if i remember correctly. The good old days!

oh man that is seriously one of my number 1 favorite past times of old uo... I'd sell the sets at the bank and gave them all cool names to help push them to banksitters like, "Ashfall Gray Platemail Suit" haha.. Good times
