PK Crisis - Easy fix? All players happy? Increase farming locations!

Here's another idea. Whether you agree with me or not, I would love to hear your input/ideas on what I propose.

On the topic of the PK'ing I've been thinking about solutions that can avoid a "nerf and punish" system. In my mind the ideal system is one that keeps reds and blues happy. If reds or blues become too frustrated then they might leave. Here is my proposal:

Increase the Number of High End Farming Spots

It is a simple idea and it is one that makes sense. Increasing the number of farming spots will still preserve the risk of PKs while making a substantial impact on reducing the number of encounters blues will have with reds. The principle is simple - its harder to hit a moving target. If there are enough decent farming spots in the world then it will make it more difficult for reds to find the blues. Currently, we reds really only need to hit a handful of farming locations - Deceit 5, Cove 5, Shame 5, Despise Titans, Fire Titans, and MoTM. This is where the fish in the barrel problem can be remedied with ease.

Are there any negative unforeseen consequences like inflation? I would say definitely not when compared with other proposals that might make PKs want to stop playing altogether. Players can usually find high end mobs to farm without too much effort. MoTM spawns can get wiped out fairly frequently but typically you can find the mob you wish to hunt. Increasing the number of farming locations wouldn't inflate prices but rather simply provide more options for hunting.

This seems like a decent idea in my book. It would help ease the PK'ing burden on blue players while also making PvM more dynamic by offering additional hunting locations. Hooray for a change a scenery while farming.

more spots would be nice, BUT I would ask for a different approach. I think it would be neat to have something that's sort of a MIX of both RDA's and TMAPS.

Item with the same droprate as TMAPS, the only difference is... no chest, and no cartography required.

Plain Instance Stone
Expert Instance Stone
Adept Instance Stone
Clever Instance Stone
Devious Instance Stone
Ingenious Instance Stone

use the stone to create a portal (20-30m timer) over your character that brings you to an 'instance' of an area with level appropriate spawn.

you could do these solo or with friends, but being as this would create low-risk scenarios, I feel no chest at the end would be appropriate.

Its almost impossible to die to PKs if youre not farming semi-afk -- soon as you see a red name, hit your recall macro, escape, win.

Are you familar with how pks find targets? We just recall around in from a runebook till we find the targets we want. More spots doesn't mean pks won't find you.

I think what you really want to say is, more spots that cannot be recalled into would give a better chance at not being pk'd.
