PET statloss and skill gain

It's annoying as hell that pet skill gain rate here is crazy fast. 7xgm pets are had by all tamers after a good day of monster bashing. Problem is tamers are as powerful as a squadron of tanks. To make matters worse pets only lose 0.1 skill points instead of the normal 1.0. Someone's pet dying should matter, instead here you retrain them in about 1 minute to 7xgm.

uoforever had a perfect system:

This was that the higher the skill points of the pet, the harder the skill gain. So 7xgm pets were rare and highly prized. Ie 7xgm mares selling for 600k to 2mil and taking days of training in a custom house pet trainer. A pet with gm wrestle, tacts, med and anat would basically gain no Margery as its skill points were already high. This was a good system!! Not to mention if your prized pet died it lost 1.0 in each skill which was difficult to retrain.

The great thing with this was that every newbie tamer wasn't a world class pvper. Yes he could buy 7xgm pets and own. But once those pets died 10 times his effectiveness was gone. Also he had to spend a good 1-2mil to obtain those pets, or spend days macroing those skills.

What are people's thoughts? uoforever may be and inferior shard to this, but it had some good systems like pet gain/ statloss

Have you ever 7 x gmed a pet... I’m thinking not cause you sure as hell can’t do it in the time frame you're insinuating.... not even close! I've done 4, (working on 4 more) and it's taken weeks closer to months with normal game play hours.

Yup 7xgmed 2 young dragons, 1 dragon, 2 mares.

Macro them hitting each other in your house to around 70 Margery. Then start hitting monsters.

Eer tried to 7xgm a pet on uoforever? It's 100 times harder. I use to macro them and sell pets at one point.

I'm currentlly working on two nightbears and it's painfully slow on the magery and resist.... everything else is easy though.

I am betting this will happen as it's the most efficient way to generate income. But then again once everyone has a tamer I don't think it'll be the most efficient template for farming :).

It already isn't, farming spots are way too busy. The most efficient template for farming is the broker... just as old azz man.
