Sure, in the original uo tamer use pet to kill at least a dragon, not an rda, not a Champions spawn and not an harrower.

I think we need to the origin of this problem, a meta tamer (remember the difficult to train and the kk used) its impossible to be killed? No.

95% of the meta tamer liv 7 of the shard cab be easly killed by a pk.

Why we need to nerf an entire template? Only because there is some player that are super able to use it and a simile pk cant kill them?

I dont think its the right way to manage a balance problem

I know it isn't, but why should pets be as super fast as they used to be? Where is the point in that? I mean I don't even get why you people would be complaining about it.. everyone just recalls around with their pets, anyways.
we are fine with the reduced pet speed vs players Kaz, ive known you for what now? over 3 years. do i or have i ever complain to you about things, not very often. im only concerned about the pet speed vs mobs thats all

Pets are still faster here than 99% of the shards still up... sorry dragons dont move as fast as mounted players anymore but I promise you, I still see plenty of tamers in EQMS doing lots of work in both PVP and PVE.

half the pvp guys complaining here still dont understand the situation. the problem isnt pet speed vs player. we are fine with the new change. or all follow speed. the problem is how slow they hit mobs now.

It's not about meta's - its about pet movement in general. The staff did a great thing making the speed the same across the board.
first of all, you probably dont even have a meta dragon, if you did, you would know they are slugs now. it actually took me as long to kill a normal daemon as it did a slayer or balaron used to. now it has become a paper weight and remain in my stable
So its no longer pet movement but now pet attack speed?

yes, the hit speed vs mobs is slowed way down, just needs changed back to how it was and keep the new speed vs players like it is now

AFAIK they only changed pet movement speed, not pet attack speed. You sure this change isnt all in your head?

yes, thats what we all have been saying, the metas and all pets a like are hitting mobs at half speed

No, the majority of the people in this thread were talking about movement speed and then out of nowhere you claim to be complaining about attack speed.

Movement speed is finally balanced -- however if attack speed was reduced, then it should be restored to how it was(as I dont think anyone, PVP or PVE, complained about pet attack speed being imbalanced).

FYI I was also talking about Pet Movement Speed, not only the Pet Attack Speed

Honestly when I read it, I too assumed he was referring to pet movement because of the language he used.

Now if re-reading it with "Pet Swing Speed" in mind (and not Pet Movement), I can see the OP in a different light.

Movement speed was leveled for all players. Slight lower for non factioners and slight boost for factioners to meet in the middle. Attack speed is based on stamina/dex and was not changed.
