It's because it's all capped. Every property is at it's fullest. It's also a popular weapon class and popular specific weapon for its class. It's also a super slayer which covers a wide variety of monsters.

Perfect short spear wasn't an overstatement or turn of phrase. It really is perfect. You cannot get better.
In the hands of a good pvmer, you can turn out over a mil a week easily with it.

That's what i was thinking. But a really solid PVMer can easily hold onto this thing for a week and manage to make well over a mil with it. In the end, it's a wise investment. The faster you kill the spawn, the more often those pesky gank squads never even see you.
