Penalty for not removing treasure chest

every carto seems to be suuuuuuuper fucking lazy, oh heres a treasure chest with a wide brim hat and nothing else, let me just screw the next carto.

you should be penalized for leaving a certain area of your treasure chest, so you cant dig up another for an hour or something like this.

i already stopped trying my brand new LP/Carto out of two days of trying to do maps i dug up 3, rest had chests sitting there

Agree 100% makes no sense as to why they are not blessed ..
Some people just dot realize that the best loot comes from the mobs spawned by the chests .. and are to fucking lazy to empty the chest as they figure they got all they wanted ..

or allow someone to loot a "abandoned chest" not go grey and remove chest

I don't have a wand and do not know what I am taking about. That said My only concern with a blessed wand wouldn't be the ingots. But trashing another hunters chest. If the chest must be empty or not looted from for say 10 minutes the then wand can be used on it, that would be cool.

As for lazy cartographers. Meh. I have only rarly had a chest where my map went. If it had stuff I'll go grew looting it most maps are in low tragic areas. Then I get free loot from spawns and I still get to use my map ussually the next day.

I keep my wand in the bank or in a chest in my house. Then if I get to a map that has the chest, I gate home, run thru fast, grab my wand and then go back thru. Then I just gate again (or sometimes I'm really quick and it's still up) and I take it back so it's not on me. Of course it would be A-MAZ-ING if they were blessed, but I get by.

I'm like @tader though, I rarely have a chest there when I go and I tmap a lot. Must have just been a busy night for you :/ I wish people could just be courteous of others and remove them, buuuut it's uo so that won't happen. lol.

Yeah those are all valid points. It has almost never happened to me and I usually just move on to another map if it does.

Should have only taken my wand out when in use but I kept it on my thunter one too many times and lost it in an RDA like an idiot.

But it was rarely an issue anyway it happened to me maybe ten times. Easy enough to work around and justify not buying another wand.

just make it so thubters can only have one active chest at a time. they cant dig up another unless they remove the old one or it decays

Honestly I find many abandoned chests I find with spawn and loot while RDA hunting. So I guess that's not an unreasonable thing to ask for.

Bless the wands, make them useless for melee (unless intended to be able to be used to train macing) and it might function as a new gold sink.

Even unblessed more people would buy them. Which I cringe at the thought of.
