They decay so can't sell, you charge up the altar located near the gazer jail cells with them to spawn up the dungeon boss.

Ah how many do you need?

It says on the altar. It takes 50 crystals and it has a cool down before it resets when the boss is killed.

In addition to spawning the boss, each crystal adds more %chance at a Relic rewarded in your bank.
