does it matter what the type is or are all obsidians basically worth the same?

I think they are all worth the same.

I have a statue of "a fierce warrior" and it looks just like any other.

I sold one the day at 25k - even at that price it was hard to find buyers. Although at the end of the day, it's what someone is willing to pay for it

I've had "an inventive blacksmith" rotting away for over a week on a vendor. Although I probably would pay 15k-ish for "a troubled poet" or "a convincing charlatan" statue.
