Paying to use someone's old crystal workbench

I've heard (I think from eppy himself?) that if you have an old crystal workbench from before the nerf where you can't imbue newbie leather armor anymore you can still imbue them. I'd like to pay someone who has one of these benches to let me imbue some gloves on their bench. I have the gloves and the runes, I just need access to the bench to do it. I don't know what a fair price is, I think 25k is a fair price for you to let me in for a sec to do it.

Please be sure that you know that you have an actual old one and not one of the nerfed ones, it can't be just any crystal workbench.

What do you mean can't do silver? Could you turn weapons into silver on really old ones or something, or do you mean actually you can't do silver slayer type?

That's not a huge problem either way I was probably gonna do reptile/exorcism unless there's a better combo people know of.

No, that's why we have the new ones is because the old ones were broken and couldn't do silver slayer armor.

I was told that only GM replaced workbenches are the new one, which means all players made ones are the old ones that can imbue newbie armors.

I bought one from a player but I guess it must have been replaced at some point because when I tried to imbue my gloves I died, and I have my runes set up in a way that it shouldn't really be possible for me to have grabbed the wrong ones.

Is there a way for me to easily make sure I have the wrong kind of bench?

Ugh, I just realized that when I died it blew up my gloves too, I didn't even think to check. I guess I gotta wait a week before I do this so I can delete my dude again, what a pain. At least I know who I can contact now, haha

Maybe I'll just delete my thief and just make a new one with the newbie leather gloves and train him up, I can surely have a 6x thief back up within a week and I was never using him anyway
