When making a blueprint, how do you select the house you want to make a blueprint for? Does the soul forge make a blank blueprint and then a player can take the blueprint and select a house? Does the player need to own the house to make the blueprint or can you copy any house you want?

I would suggest limiting it to only being able to copy a house you own or maybe even co-owned to. That way designers can make blueprints and sell them. If anyone can just walk up and copy a house you may not have much of a market for blueprints.

If you have to be in the house to make the blueprint with a soul forge then you will be limiting it to only being able to copy houses that have a forge in them. I assume that isn't the case but just want to get more clarity on the system.

I disagree limiting it to only the house you own or co-own would make it less sell able .
First just anyone cant make then you have to have the required skills and the forge
Making a market for it will rely on the craftier being smart about it ....
Like make the blue print and sell it and not sell a blank blue print. If you limit the person
who can make a blueprint of the house you now limit the type of houses built. Making for
a very small market.

Anyone can find someone with the skills and a forge to make blueprints. Getting the actual blueprints will eventually be the trivial part, especially if the special ingredient is as common as getting a perks. What I am saying is when they capture a house design. If anyone can do that, they will be pretty much just another cheap commodity. Yes in the beginning it will take some time for people to get the ingredients. What I think will make different blueprints valuable is when skilled house designers offer a blueprint of houses they designed. This will eliminate the risk of players putting their trust in designers by transferring their house to them. The designer can simply design something, capture it in the blank blueprint and sell that to the buyer. People who really like someone else's house could offer them money to capture their design.

I'm using CUO and just updated using the launcher.

After the update I'm noticing that my in-game macros that utilize the enter/return key are no longer functioning.
I don't have "activate chat when pressing ENTER" enabled, so I know it's not that.

After re-reading this again it does say the owner of a house can copy the design

- This will allow the owner of a house to copy the current design of a house.
- This item must be crafted in a soul forge with the following: minimum skills: 100 blacksmithing, 115 carpentry. resources required: 5 stacks of logs, 5 stacks of ingots
- This will require a recipe to craft.
