Old School Gamer (27 yr old) but NEW to UO.

Hey there all. I still remember in the late 90's being at my friends house in middle school and watching him play UO all day. He was on 56k internet and the game looked so amazing. I have VERY little experience playing UO on uoforever.

Is this server good to play on for a new player? Is anybody willing to help out that is bored? I really want to believe I can make myself get into the game and enjoy it.. I am hoping my fantasy is possible. I live in Texas. Thanks and see ya.

It's easy to get up and running here because skill gains are so quick and gold from mobs is decent. PM if you still need help getting started I can set you up with a little bit of gear and reags and point you in the right direction. I'll be home from work around 6 eastern time! Welcome to the Server!

You took the first important step in signing up to the forums.
I would suggest PM'ing @Desi with regards to the "New" guild.
She and other players run a guild designed for new players to help get them started and learn the mechanics of the game.

Well you're in Texas with the server so you will have crazy low ping, that's a bonus for starters.
