As the year comes to a close and the holidays are in full swing, the Vesper Commerce Commission would like to thank its loyal licensees for their continued support of the Commission's protection of its naval assets. The company is always happy to see its friendly registered vessels out at sea, profiting a great deal!
Ever vigilant in its duties to the Vesper Commerce Commission, however, the privateers demand payment in blood for any who would defy its ownership of the seas by avoiding their licensing dues, no matter the odds!
In Lost Hope Bay, Sal the Fisher moved to engage the Otter and was destroyed.
In return, a ransom of 25,000 gold was paid to the Commission. This would prove unfortunate for Captain Merrman, whose ship the SS Bluebottle was destroyed by Sal an hour later. Captain Brandon Van Raily and Master Gunner Cheeto Mainsail moved to intercept the pirate and recover any lost property, resulting in great success.
Illegal whalers and two-bit pirates alike will face the gallows when the Commission comes upon them!

The dedicated privateers enforcing licensure for the Vesper Commerce Commission have been hard at work stopping illegal whaling, wrecking and recovery operations.
Another privateer has also spearheaded attacks on unlicensed ships, Rad Mobile. His dedication has seen many illegal excursions against Commission assets fail before his cannonfire!
Those who resist licensure will find the Devils of the Deep have got 'em beat!

Meanwhile, the public has sought out summoning dark energies in the sea, potentially threatening licensees and other Commission interests. Privateers deploy to pacify this dangerous practice.
From the relative safety of the docks, the opposition catapulted battalions of energy vortexes onto the Otter. Eventually, even the uncompromising constitution of its crew were no match, and seeing them flee and suffer grievous injury, some mages would press the attack into the ocean.
A grievous error in judgment.
In other news, the Commission continues its land expeditions against coastal targets of opportunity to great success.
As always, the Vesper Commerce Commission is thrilled to see ships being registered officially, with a new licensee joining the rapidly growing ranks of legal seamen!
Others agree that the licensing program is hard to pass up!
When the licensees need the Commission, the Commission is there for them!
