It was Lee, he was editing some features and it frozened. WE figured it out quick, we are also going to be setting world save sto every 30 minutes soon here as we are goign to be implementing alot of new stuff for you all. With new stuff comes new bugs of course.
We are very sorry about the revert. We have a custom snapshot system in place that fires off on normal crashes so that there is almost never a revert. However, this crash was actually an infinite loop somewhere, so the snapshot was never taken. For this reason, we had a ~90 minute revert.
All in all, today hasn't been a very good day for us. It has made us seriously reevaluate our testing process. We hope to pump out some quality, thoroughly tested content in the near future. No more of this crashing crap.
Yeah i had a big talk with staff tonight about this.
We have been implementing so much new stuff it's insane, with that comes bugs I'm aware but i also think quality is most important here.
So we will be doing more testing, and putting together an official testing team for a lot of this stuff as well since we have a TON more to implement over the next month or two.
NEW STUFF is good, and for every crash is a bug fixed.
