I recent'y found out about this server and started playing again. I was hoping someone could tell me if Nox Mages are in the game. If you are unfamiliar with that term, what I'm basically asking is if Poisoning + Magery = the ability to cast greater poison, deadly poison, and on rare occasion, lethal poison?

I know I've DP'ed before, not sure If I've Lethal poisoned someone before. But yes, Magery+Poisoning gives you the ability to cast higher levels of poison. The problem is that GCure pots rarely fail :/

nox bonus for Mages is in, like Dwyane said. But like on every freeshard theyre worthless. Reason is that people nowadays all carry potions and the poison system is one ***** to fuck with when it comes to balancing. I don't expect any changes to them and don't think that it'd be a smart move to have any.

don't waste your money on poisoning if you want to be a Mage. Make him a dexxer, that's what its reaaaallllyyy good for.

No lie there. UO:f has a 30% increased chance to poison with a weapon if GM poisoning. Other shards don't have that so dexxor poisoners are pretty OP. They also can set 16 poison charges as opposed to the 12 there are on OSI or other shards. Let's also not forget the 10% chance to inflict poison one level higher.
But if you are doing a poison dexxor, pay attention to what poisons you use as lower poisons hit more often while higher poisons(dp) hit slower but harder.

Mobs worth real gold will cure themselves over and over. Don't waste your time with this build.
