Not the owner of a statue I got?

I was in the graveyard killing stuff and I got a zombie statue off of a zombie. Well when I try to turn it on, it says I have to be the owner. I am the owner..... Any ideas? Thanks

it means you need to be the owner of the house its placed in i believe you can only turn them on when there locked down.

you need to have the statue in your backpack and double click it, while standing in a house you own with that same character
