I have had two of my post straight up deleted. One of them being deleted I agree with.

Though I have had about three of my post closed and no replies authorized by Shane.

So to the point of my post. I suggest that for Shane to shut down a players post, he needs to make a post asking if this post should be closed. If he gets a certain amount of likes(let's say ten) then he can close it.

But every time a post comes out that paints him in a bad light(even if true) he deletes it or closes it.

By the way Shane, you said "we don't even know if he(he was referring to me)is in the Army or not." (Nice to know you assume your players are liars) but no, I am not in the Army. Never said that I was. I did 3 1/2 years in the Air Force. Then got hired on with a company that holds contracts with the military. Since then I have been to Iraq, Djibouti, Ethiopia twice and another place I can't name. Now off to Afghanistan.

Just because I am not in the military does it make what I do for this country any less meaningless?

Shane when Veterans Day and the upcoming Memorial Day comes up don't be fake and raise a glass to the troops.

Back to the subject. What do the players of UOF think about putting some restrictions on Shane the God of UOF who has to answer to no one and make it to where he needs a number of likes to close a players thread. This would give the players a voice on if a post should be closed.

If you can't tell yes I have a beef with Shane. Check out my post Drunk at the bar in the everything else section and tell me why he closed it?

Dude...he just dropped a guys castle ....From what I read you have donated which is awesome....and I have dealt with you a number of times and find you to be a good guy....I have shared a few of your complaints in the past....I have missed several handouts....but then a day or two later I realize its a free game....there has to be someone you trust enough to co-owner the castle...??? or sell it and bank the money....You paid 7.2 just a month ago and now they go for 14 mill.....I think your taking things to serious....ease down Ripley ease down....

My suggestion to save the castle would be:

Create 4 characters on each of your 3 accounts (12 characters total)
Empty the castle contents into the bank boxes of all 12 characters
125 items * 12 bank boxes = 1,500 items
Put the most valuable 1,500 items into the bank. Worthless crap leave in the castle
Co-own a good buddy and some friends and have them refresh the castle
There would be pretty much no incentive to steal anything if all valuables are in bank boxes

Pretty much what Shane said. Put your shit in the bank. I ended up transferring my castle to a friend. Better than risking it to Idoc to some loser. But good suggestion.

I have heard rumors that after a set time your home starts kicking people off the friends and co owner list. Could be so false but after all it took me to get this castle I will not take any chances.

I hear you bro, it is a free game. But like I told Shane in a pm when he told me to sell my castle it will help his economy, I take this as a personal fuck you from Shane. I can see why this shard got DDOSed for three days. He can be a real dick.

Shane could have told me what the rules are on houses. If it is true that co-owners won't get kicked from your list he could have guaranteed me that having a co-owner refresh my house will keep it safe, but instead told me to sell it for his economy.

Am I pissed yes. Am I justified who knows. But would love for Shane to come down off his high horse and own up instead of closing my threads.

Xfer your castle to a trusted friend or teach a RL family/friend how to login and double click a sign once a month.

I would expect a military man to be familiar with the phrase 'pick your battles'....

Yes he's the god of UOF. Yes he can do whatever the Fuck he wants. He created this server we all play on. What did you do? Oh you donated? So now your entitled? You know, if I knew I wouldn't be able to play for weeks at a time, I wouldn't invest into a castle. And I especially wouldn't take it all so seriously.

As you see, no one is really supporting your ranting here. What I see is people telling you to cool it. Deal with it. Have people fresh it. Just like everyone else has to do in game. I commend you for serving, but what about someone going over to Africa to be in the Peace Corp? What about someone going on a mission for their church to South America? Then to prove everyone is telling the truth, Shane would need to require some kind of document showing proof. That's a lot of extra work that he has the right, as the shard owner, to not get involved with people's private lives on such an intimate basis.
