No skill gain since the zombies

Hello,
Ever since the Zombie event my characters no longer seem to gain or lose any skills. Even if I pick a skill I am at "0" in (unlock it of course) and start using it there is no gain. Wondering what is going on.

if you have 7 x 100 skills, you need to set one of them to go down to make your skill total go down, I believe you NEED to be maxd for this to happen, and make sure you set them DOWN and not LOCKED

You can not lose a skill if you are not at skill cap (700.) Then you must choose a skill which you want to go down in order to let another one go up. You actually gain skills faster when you are below the 700 cap so it is best to GM the costly skills on a fresh character. Also macroing in dungeons is the best way to skill up because of the bonus.
