Newer client?

Will the updated client from EA work at some point? It comes with native 1280x720 resolution, meaning there are no black areas on your screen when you move around. It is much smoother. But you cannot see custom house plots

Also I cannot get steam to work at all with the UOF client downloaded from the launcher. Out of memory errors all the time. (worked well with the EA client)

From what I understand the enhanced client (especially if it's 3D client you are talking about), will not be updated, as it would duplicate all map/custom changes they make, and the 3D changes were much more intense.

I just fixed the out of memory issue thanks.

I was talking about the classic client but from uo.com and fully updated. I then launch the UOF launcher, patch it and play. The in game setting for larger resolution is in my opinion MUCH better than the razor/steam option for it. It's smoother and has no black zones at the edge of your screen.

the only problem is that I cannot see half the custom house plots with that client.

I agree entirely on the black corners, I've read about this fix, but haven't tried it, though I know some who have, and says it works.

Apparently it does work but you are missing some houses/items showing up
