Hey guys I am a UO newbie and last played many many years ago. I wanna try uoforever but really dont like multi accounting and prefer one character. I wanna do PvP/PvM and was wondering if you could recommend a template that's not too difficult. Also if any active clan is recruiting I'd love to join up. I'm EU :)

If you want something that's not difficult and can pvp and pvm, a dexer is probably your best bet. Something like:

Weapon skill
tactics
anatomy
healing
magic resist
magery
meditation

Stats should be roughly:

95 strength
90 dex
40 mana

Others may say swap magery and med for something like hiding and poisoning, but magery gives you so much versatility, and even if you're not good with it right now, you can always learn.

UOF has a custom quest that allows dexers and mages to acquire an item which greatly helps in PvM.

Just understand that it takes a very, very long time to reach max level for your talisman and all the relics.

If I go hiding and poisoning instead should i have less intelligence then i guess? 100/100/25?

For a new player poisoning would be prohibitively expensive to train. I would suggest building a provoker for quick and easy gold farming. I would also highly suggest you reconsider your opinion on multi clienting. Pvming alone on one char is pretty tough when you die deep in a dungeon. Having a second hidden char nearby to resurrect yourself saves a lot of time and stress.

When i started playing here someone told me to make a provo/archer and i don't regret following that advice. One of the best ways to solo farm and you can contribute to the more "endgame" PVE aswell.

Having multiple accounts is really just a convenience thing and will make your life a lot easier. Even if it's just a second account with a character with 50 magery to gate you out of dungeons when you die and mark some runes to farm spots. (you will need to use scrolls for this tho)

Take a look at this thread;

If you need a rune marked to the bard table mentioned in this thread, drop me a PM.

I would listen to arch enemy on this one. The meddy build can make money almost as fast as a tamer. The cash comes in as fast, it's just the spawns can't keep up with you killing and as a tamer you recall to different locations constantly. With the meddy build, you grab a slayer weapon and slay.
I ran into a new char named Priss yesterday and we were able to make about 30k farming in probably 20 minutes after telling her to swap over to a build mentioned similar to arch enemy.

For your first pve build I'd suggest music/provo/arch/tact/anat/healing and then decide between resisting, magery, or hiding. Resisting to last a little better if you are waiting on a provoke cooldown, magery for the great utility, or I assume people like hiding to hide from pk's ( I never tried the hiding).

I actually started with a GM arch/tact/music/provo
80 resist, 80 anat, 80 heal, 60 magery. I think I really liked this one better then gmin'g resist, I don't see any difference in that 20 pts of resist that I spent tons of gold on gming.

I had this same mentality when I started here too. I watched someone named Flube doing a multi client stream and decided then I needed to make a second account, and then I made my third as well. Now while you are testing the server out there isn't a need for more than 1 account, but after you get a little more established you will see the convenience in having a gater standing in your house on account 2 when you die 4 levels down in a dungeon. Account 2 casts gate, account 1 ghost walks in, gets rez'd, healed, and back into the action in under a minute.
