Newbie leather slayer armor

As far as I have heard it's still not possible to imbue newbie leather...

What I have gleaned so far from things I have heard was that staff never intended for newbie AR to be slayerized and despite knowing full well that it could be done for literally years they waited until now to axe it with no announcement or intention of bringing the ability back. I certainly certainly hope that this is an incorrect assumption.

I don't think it was intentionally axed, it seems to have been an unintended side effect of the server move.

i know my prepatched crystal bench no longer works.. and neither does my buddies

I don't think it was intentionally axed because I saw Eppy say something about trying to figure out why it changed and fix it... Really hope it can be fixed, that was the only reason I bought my crystal bench and saved gargoyle runes for so long.

O.k. good was probably just someone trying to pump up the value of their armor to try to sell it anyway.
