Don't need to add the relics. Could level and then apply once you get rare form. Although I would never do it without at least carapace.

yeah man sucks without cara, nobody really understands the importance of it.. im 80 scrolls away from having it

my spider is 1.5m into lvl 6. it currently has lvl 10 dessicate, lvl 9 brood and lvl 4 carapace and last relic is in the bank waiting to be applied at lvl 7
