Murder Counts for Captains of a ship!!!

so currently, if you are on boat A, and boat B comes along and pks/attacks you sinks boat/ whatever manner, you die and are un able to count the other person? is this why guilds hide on the high seas? prolly!!! maybe this is something to be looked at.

left 3 blues hidden on a boat, watch as was sunk and no counts were given :) something is broken
 
it should all be like bucs den ffa, as there are a number of irregularities that occur with ships/players/flagging/counts...
you've never noticed sommerlla ? you must not actually spend much time out there..

I've noticed that if you fire on those who are on land, they seem to flag you. But out in the water I've never not been counted.

Also, I was just pointing out that I myself have been able to be counted just fine.

I haven't been on the waters much lately but it might have to do with whether they target you or the boat, since you were all hidden you couldn't give counts.

If you were visible and they target you with cannon fire then you could give a count.

But what do I know I hung up my slimy green boots for about a month now

I've wondered about this. Would hate to end up in the long run with my Legendary Fisher as a perma red.

A kill is a kill. Should be able to count whether on land or on the sea. Be good to see bounty hunters have to take to the sea as well to chase down them pirates !

I would dislike this lol

My pirate is a 120 fisher and perma red so stat loss for him would suck

But you see very few pirates on the water. Trin has the most active onthe waters we have a couple but don't see much otherwise.

it would be nice to see the content finished with the champ and galleons to bring more people out to sea

Maybe the sea should then be a no cut zone. Get some more action happening out there for players.

honestly i think they need to up the loot on the seas if they want to see people out there. the price of MIBs has come way down due to lack of demand, because they increased the risk but haven't increased the reward. making it no cut will only make that worse and then only pirates will be out there fighting each other.

they need to fix the boat system cause it does all kinds of strange things with flagging.

i don't think anything really needs to be done regarding the stat loss situation though. from what i understand most pirates don't stat each other, and if you get killed by a normal fisherman you kinda deserve what you get for being a pirate.

Perma stat is only if you choose anyways, and since you have to die twice, and only based off short term counts i doubt it will be a huge issue to pirates.

since i mention rewards how about, Sea Champ, New Rares for Osiredon and Leviathan, increased MIB loot, and maybe a chance at something rare when just fishing. whirlpools are pretty good as they are i think.

Mibs need to be changed to quadrants instead of exact locations. Divide the map into 9 quads and have mibs that belong to said quad be able to be fished up from any deep water within the quad it belongs.

Yah...EA tried like hell to get the seas more busy too. Maybe something like random mini spawns of pirate ships would get more people out and about. Or a Last Ship Standing event where players enter a team and a ship into a free for all.

this would be crazy, i save up and do no less than 20 MIBs in a quadrant ant about 60% of my time is spent sailing, you make it so i can stay in one spot and get them and i will be pulling in an easy 200k an hour and tons of rares and shit.

it needs a loot boost but not that much.
