Could be a Hydra or it Could kill the beast ... time will tell. but I suspect the latter.247 was bad.
Disbanding them is only going to triple the amount of blue griefer pks

Make stat-loss work per one murder, but make it more severe and affect everyone (blues and reds).
Random blue guy kills you while you're farming and takes a count. You come back, kill him and stat him, which takes him out of the game for a while.
Red running around with 40 murders but hasn't committed any crimes in a while. You can freely attack and kill him on sight, but you cannot stat him as he has already paid for his crimes (by being statted 40 times).
It'll give PK blues a bit of pause, since they can't just get away clean and work off the count. Reds will be able to enjoy playing criminals without getting statted every time they trip over.
Make friends. Start or join a guild. Go out and have fun killing because you know that person has your back. Stop complaining how broken it is because you die too much as a red (MURDERER) or can't pvp.[e Forum lock please! JK I really don't have an issue whether they change the murder count scene, I just play. *)*

I see this happen on a regular basis. If there was any punishment whatsoever for blue PKs then you wouldn't see this hardly at all. I applaud the devs here for going outside the box to handle murder counts and bounties, but it doesn't seem to work as intended. It seems to create a lot of situations like this, and/or large murderer groups to protect eachother.
No before we flame away, obviously you can't stop this type of behavior completely. But as it sits, the 8hr timer for murder counts in a joke. Blue players can PK with impunity because they are able to macro overnight and be at 0 again. Remember, on OSI, you couldn't just macro afk overnight.
Minimum I would suggest a 40hr timers for murder counts. Even without adding short/long counts.
There either needs to be punishment for murdering at ALL levels of murderers, or there should be none.
