More options to butler

Would also like to see profiles. So I can set values for dexerz and other for mages.
This would be nice, owner can setup profiles possibly, and the person restocking just picks profile and it drops amount like currently.

not sure if this is probable though,
 
Though these have been suggested I would like 2 see 3 different tabs up top like profiles so you don't have to change it so much

I would also like to see a menu added to build suits. Maybe add a special armoire that links to the butler that you can have the butlers "fetch" your suit. Maybe make a squire boy with that feature. Could eventually build a whole staff to upkeep your house.

Also weapons, pouches, dexxer armor, maybe scrolls (fs, etc) and daggers for reds.


Really a separate profile for dexxers would be awesome.

I think having sections for every user such a (dexxer, heal mage,alchy mage) would be awesome. Also there needs to be pouches and scrolls section like tyler mentioned above.

A butler revamp has already been discussed by staff previously and has a high probability of occurring. I do not know of the priority of this revamp in correlations to the other (pretty damn exciting) changes that the dev staff is working on.

Also, keep the ideas coming as you guys might come up with a couple things that we have not already jotted down.

It's confirmed, staff is removing Meta dragons! :eek::Do_O:)

Hoping some of those 'other' changes includes more farming areas (doesn't even need to be lucrative. Just a change in scenery) :p

I got an idea, how about a little more transparency at this point??

I mean, what changes could the dev team possibly be cooking up that are exciting?? I for one stopped being excited about booty island about a year ago, and I'm sure that's gotta be a top priority change.

Not everything requires transparency. Also transparency is great for things set in stone, but for those that the dev staff need to be flexible on - if details are given out, they are essentially held to that. Things change in testing and ideas have to be changed. Pigeon-holing the dev staff is not the best for the shard or for any game development team. We will give details as they are ready to be given.

I don't really get you. You post ideas and have avatars to "make UOF great" but you continually bring negativity to threads. Positive attitudes and open minds go a long way when pushing for change.

pushing for a few mob spawners to be added to booty isle after 1 year isn't something any player should need to do after the amount of boasting about it staff did to advertise in the first place. So if it sounds negative that I'm not excited for any changes, let alone secret changes you're cooking up you really can't blame me for that.

We were told that booty island would be the place to be. As a promoter of UO:F for years it's like a slap in the face every time one of the adjacent houses to my plot goes IDOC, considering I paid good gold for my house there.

Stop trying to make it seem like any effort has been put into making booty island more desirable. NO effort has been put into that island whatsoever since the day after its release. It's not I'm complaining that the airship battle never happened, because that's something that actually does require testing and might not work as planned. But adding spawners or RDAs to booty island is completely different than that; it requires no testing and very little effort.

So enough with the lectures as if I don't know what I'm talking about, if you don't like my posts or think they're negative, save yourself the angsty ''strandy killed my vendor gater afk'' routine and simply delete them.

More on transparency, should I even bother bringing up the vesper rewards? We lost dedicated community members over that, and I can't help but feeling a little more transparency on the rewards and communication with the community might have prevented it. Hard to disagree with me on that one.

Maybe staff feels like it doesn't matter if we lose a few players here and there, because we have tons of new players coming in to take their place, but I disagree with that sentiment wholeheartedly.
