MIB Spawn

Is there any way to stop the water elementals spawning on my boat when I do an MIB.
Or am I doing something wrong ? (the most probable answer is yes).

No way to stop it - they will always pop on your boat. One was to avoid would be place a second boat nearby and embark on that once they spawn.

EV scrolls.
use before casting your hook.
while the spawn rates differ in relation to the amount of casts, being a mage, I cast one EV fish about 5 times and cast another EV and provo the mob on each other and hammer away at them while they kick each others ass..


timing and such varies with skill....
