Hi. i started on this server like a week ago and im enjoying it very much. ive learned about meta system and i want to get into that as well but have a couple of questions first.

whats a legit meta dexxer build? i wanna go berserker because it gives fastest farming potential i guess

i m assuming SW, Anat, Tactics, Heal , ?Parry?
and rest 2? Hiding Poi? or i dont know mb armslore instead of poi?
And what about stats?

and why are Meta dexxers always riding a swamp dragon ? does it give an armor bonus or smt?

cheers

Required:
100 Weaponskill (to hit stuff)
100 Tactics (to do more damage)
100 Anatomy (to do more damage + to heal better)
100 Healing (to heal)

Recommended:
100 Magic Resist (most endgame monsters seem to be casters as well)
64/72 Magery (always recall/entrance to wind)

Optional PVM:
100 Arms lore (ONLY when you have your talisman - no accurate data but should increases hit rate)
100 Parry (gives free armor and migrates melee damage - does not work well with zerker talisman)
100 Music+120 Provocation (will not work with talisman)

Optional PVP:
100 Lumberjack (gives bonus to axes and gives good burst damage)
100 Poisoning (most mobs will cure anyway)
100 Hiding (won't help killing them, but will increase survival)
100 Alchemy (self sufficient + extra damage from explosion pots)

Swamp dragons are expensive/rare to get (150k?). They require barding armor to decrease damage. Exceptional valorite barding gives 20% damage reduction and costs about 440k)

If i started from scratch a pure pvm berserker template I would use it this:

1 Swords
2 Tact
3 Anat
4 Healing
5 Arms lore (can wait till after you get tali)
6 Resist
7 open. Likely best to mix with hiding and magery.

You may want to try to find a power scroll skill that you can aquire at least 105-115 to give yourself 15 extra skill points to work with. Peacemaking is the easiest to do this with.

I did this but made my 7th skill parry. Having no Magery isn't the most desirable thing ever, but from a pure melee standpoint, with 100ar+ required for full leveling and a good heater shield, you'll take virtually no melee damage from literally anything once you start leveling up pretty good. I don't even have the tali yet and it's already ridiculous. Magic mobs are the only thing you even really need to consider healing. Just carry some cute pots because Titans amongst most others love to cast poison.

That works for the defense talisman. I believe the OP was looking to be a berserker.

My meta zerker is a lumberjack. Before the additional armslore addition he had alchy and did pretty good at double duty pvm and pvper. The added hit chance was too good to pass up so i dropped alchy to get it. Axes are nice in pvp but katanas own in pvm. I am staying stubborn about dropping LJ but it is looking more and more likely.

Ah yep, you're right. No point in parry for defense tali.

Thx a lot for replies. Big help. I could consider going for defense tali as well but this is gonna be a char purely for farming. I guess im gonna go with
Sw tactics heal anat
Resist armslore hiding.
Hiding saved my life countöess times against pks and mobs. Since im playing almost always solo i need that survivabilty.
I dont need magery but is it worth having only for Wind? I was never in wind and dont know whats goin on there.

And does it work like that? Can i get random ps and increase other skills? Skills dont go Minus right? How does that work if i dont have alredY peace in my template for example?

  • If you want to learn a +5 power scroll, you need to have 100 skill points in that skill already. Upon learning it, your total skills cap will increase to 705 points.
  • If you want to learn a +10 power scroll, you need to have 105 skill points in that skill already. Upon learning it, your total skills cap will increase to 710 points.
  • If you want to learn a +15 power scroll, you need to have 110 skill points in that skill already. Upon learning it, your total skills cap will increase to 715 points.
  • If you want to learn a +20 power scroll, you need to have 115 skill points in that skill already. Upon learning it, your total skills cap will increase to 720 points.
Afterwards you can drop the skill back to 0, the total skill cap will stay 720. So you have 20 extra skill to build into your template.
