Meta Mage Questions

Hello Guys,

So I decided to buy a new character slot to make a meta mage. And I did.

Day One
I started macroing spirit speak cuz i heard that it speeds up meditation. After gmed SS my meditation was insanely fast.

Day Two
At some point, with all my skills macroed, i made a RDA, and after that my meditation was normal again. (I didn't die on RDA)

Day Four
After i get tali, the only thing that i noticed was the fact that i save some mana when casts spells on mobs.
I tried to ask some friends about what is going on with meditation but no one knows 100% about it cuz they don't have a Meta Mage.
So here are my questions:

1 - Spirit Speak does help on meditation?
2 - I was bugged before or I am bugged now?
3 - Meditation will speed up when i level my tali?

3) Levling your talisman does not speed up med it increases dmg; see this link: http://www.uoforum.com/wiki/index.php?title=Meta_Talismans

That being said..the following is why you want the shadowy disciple relic: "Shadow Disciple - this ability when triggered gives mana recovery and lowers the resist of creatures that are casted upon. Mana recovery is calculated by: (damage * (10.0 + (Level * 2.0)) / 100.0). The resist of the target is modified by: resist * (1.0 - (((Level * 2) + 10.0) / 100.0))."

So i figure i was bugged before, since my meditation in Day one was super ultra fast.
