Yes. Its a bit difficult by yourself due to the magic damage they can dump all at once. Two dexers can tear one up with cross healing and kill them even faster than a tamer can.

I had just downed a daemon paragon so I was feeling pretty good about myself, then I ran into The Slayer and he swatted me like a bug. So I was wondering if it was worth trying to get a weapon of balron damnation or if I should just avoid him and train my tamer.

It's not worth trying. I've never seen two dexxors be able to take down a balron-- mostly because the dps is do intense, even a Mage or healer cannot keep up. You would need several healers (or wait till the balron is outta mana and even then it's iffy).

Mostly it's tamers (or bards) that do balrons because it takes another high hp mob to be able to take the damage.

**on a side note, a dexxor can do ice fiends fairly successfully.

You can melee them if you use the lancing tactic . Dont stand still toe to toe with them.
try to stay out of magic range charge in do your hit, charge out of range heal. rinse and repeat . this is how ive done it .. its not fast or pretty and you need to plan it out to avoid aggro adds. but it is do'able ..

Or go full invul plate and GM parry with mofo shield. Full resist of course.

provo dexxer/archer can kill them absurdly fast when you have them provoked on something.
