Make pack beetle 2 pet slots down from 3

so people are able to use meta and a pack beetle, this also leaves them vulnerable for the use of the exra pack to pks and people hunting them while farming since people wont be riding a mare or using a WW as a 2nd pet but it would give them access to carry more loot

I don't like this idea, however... I would support a 4 or 5 follower slot meta-beetle that requires at least 300-400 points in crafting skills to control. This way a miner can have a pet that'll carry more ore, more logs for a lumberjack, more hides for a tailor, etc.

Edit: If you have a meta-steed, you can totally use a pack beetle and a meta-steed.

Tamers (myself included) have more than enough. Pokédragons, pokémounts, relics... We don't need the ability to carry 60k in a beetle. Just recall to a bank when you get 8k-10k or however much you can carry then recall back to wherever your hunting spot is. Of course, that could not work for the Asylum or the Grotto. But, even those 2 dungeons you can recall out of.

I do like the idea of a crafter beetle..maybe one that as you get crafting skills it gains more ability to hold so if you are say 5x crafter with magery and med you can hold 5x the amount in the beetles pack

only downside i seee to this is people taking crafters to idoc to shove loot into the beetle

you can always bring a second char with a pack-beetle nd hiding into dungeons like khaldun/grotto.. I wouldnt mind this change though - I might start PVPing with two beetlez.

It's been brought up before but some kinda of workhorse/utility meta with storage/gold/magic find relics. I think it would be kinda cool

Forgive me if I am incorrect my pet knowledge is limited but can't you have a toon on a second account friend a beetle to you (drop down menu when you click a pet ) and use 2 pets that way?
