Freaking ridiculous to be able to be young and farm the highest tier mob in the game without risk. Half the people farming MOTM are young.

I believe that one of the reasons some of the MotM mobs are easy monsters such as ettins and earth elementals is to give (young) players a small chance at a rare item that they can sell to more established players. That gold can then be used to help them become established themselves.
With that being said, if people are creating new accounts via VPNs to abuse the (young) player status, then sure, it needs to be looked into. But, you cannot change the entire system because a couple rotten players are abusing it. Find the players abusing the system, don't punish the legit (young) players that just want to play UO.

Can't GMs tell if it's abused by monitoring the youngs and see if they pass off items to vets, if conversations etc

You don't need super slayers for earth elementals. They go down in 3 sec anyways.

so right now EQMS is raiding shame and all that's left farming MOTM are the young players. One of the young players is geared to the teeth and even named "haha IM young"

His name is just rubbing it in how stupid this is. Hes even trying to hijack monsters from people and not even looting any gold...must be good to be young and rich. This is ruining the competitive aspect of farming MOTM completely and making me want to log in another account to reap the benefits as well.

My idea is.
If you want get a chance of the the drops from the MOTM you have to leave your young status. If you want train your char with any risk (as a newplayer ) you cant hunt the current MOTM.Tthere are a lot of other mobs/dungeons were he could farm.
If you attack such a monster/enter a dungeon you get a ingame message with a link to our forum. Where the problem is descriped.
Ingame message could be. You are entering/attacking the MOTM you have ...... sec to leave this area or to stop attacking otherwise you lose your youngstatus. Please visit www.uoforever................. for more details.
Also if you create your young char you get such info

Yep every MOTM all ppl make a fake account for young and go to farm whit this chat....Idea to disable MOTM drop from young is perfect

If a young is geared with slayer/invulnerable armor and a slayer/vanq weapon report the name and location to a gm
