magery skill gain rates?

new to this server, not sure about how much ill have to play to raise skill?
went to graveyard for two nights, set up macro for reveal and invis for 4 hours,,,nothing..im at 71.1
tried mana drain..no luck either

Make sure you're staying fully fed and fully watered. I did ebolt til mid 80s and flamestrike until GM, with another character healing me with bandaids. This got me to around 84 resist as well

got all fed and watered, foudn the pit in jhelom, that has solid gains
think it was just the fact of practicing in town

It's easy peasy, do this (helps if you macro in a dungeon, but as long as it's not in a house you are ok):

50-63. Cast mana drain on yourself
63-75. Cast invis on youself
75-GM. Cast mana vampire on yourself

If your character has resist as a skill.. Mana drain gets ya to 65 and then mana vampire will GM resist. This is why magery and resist are macrod together.
